Keep your bouquet blooming gorgeous for longer by following these simple steps:

  1. Fill your clean vase with cool, clean water. Clean water prevents bacteria from growing – this is what causes flowers to expire. Try to change the water daily, or as often as you can possibly remember!
  2. Cut at least 1/2″ off the stems at a 45 degree angle to allow more surface area for your blooms to drink water. Add your freshly trimmed blooms. Be sure to check those thirsty stems reach the water
  3. After the initial cut, check the bottoms of your stems every couple of days, and if the ends are looking a bit slimy, just snip off an inch or so
  4. The life of each variety of flower is different. To keep your flowers fresh as long as possible, take out the flowers as they expire so they don’t spread bacteria to the flowers that are still happy
  5. Pay special attention to the leaves below the waterline because they will decompose, causing rot and bacteria to grow which will shorten the lifespan of your blooms
  6. Keep your blooms out of direct heat and sunlight. Cool places are your blooms best friends
  7. Finally, why not snap them for insta at #Bloomtown to spread the bloomtown love to your friends?
